MXR Script Series: '74 Phase 90 & '75 Phase 45 http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/csp026-74-vintage-phase-90 http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/csp105-75-vintage-phase-45 In order to show the differences of these two legendary pedals, Dunlop offers up this video of a side by side comparison of the '74 Script Phase 90 and '75 Script Phase 45. Both of these pedals benefit from painstaking research by the MXR team to replicate as close as possible the components, wiring, and construction of the original issues of these pedals. Both as well feature period correct hand-wired circuit boards and carefully selected hand-matched FETs. However, all of that is secondary to the real reason for going through these lengths which is to achieve the warm and musical, 100% analog tone that these pedals create. Choose the Phase 90 if you want the lush 4-stage phasing heard on thousands of recordings since its creation in 1972. If your style is better suited to more subtle modulation that almost boarders on a low speed Leslie, then the 2-stage phasing of the 45 might be your pedal of choice. Or have them both on hand to choose when needed or feed then into one another for totally different sounds. '74 Vintage Phase 90 Info The MXR Phase 90 set the benchmark for phasers, with its thick and rich tone. Our in-house work horse, purchased in 1974, was meticulously spec'd and recreated as the '74 Vintage Phase 90. The hand-wired board features select resistors paired with handmatched FETs to achieve the same smooth and warm modulation as the original. The '74 Vintage Phase 90 comes housed in the classic orange finished box and is adorned with the unmistakable Script logo. Power: Single 9 volt battery '75 Vintage Phase 45 Info The '75 Vintage Phase 45 reissue from the MXR Custom Shop reproduces the rare little brother of the Phase 90 to exacting specifications. With two stages of phasing, the Phase 45 offers up its subtle and musical voice via hand-matched FETs and hand-wired circuit board. Authentic tried and true components and hardware such as a Carling switch, CTS pot and Switchcraft jacks. Texture your tone without over powering your sound with the limited-edition '75 Vintage Phase 45.
