Ibanez proudly introduces the newly updated Ibanez SR Premium bass.
While still featuring the legendary SR body; “Compact, Lightweight, 3D arched”, the SR Premium series include stunning body wood laminations, helping the bass achieve a detailed and premium appearance. Nordstrand™ pickups produce a full-bodied, powerful and aggressive tonal texture, while still retaining the clarity that's characteristic of single coil pickups. The 5pc Wenge/Bubinga neck with KTS Titanium reinforcement rods offers tonal clarity and a superior note attack, and its slim grip shape provides superior playability. The other features include Premium Fret Edge Treatment, BLACK TUSQ XL® nut and Gotoh® machineheads.
Updates on SR Premium bass;
The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band eq w/Eq bypass switch & 3-way Mid frequency switch allow for precise tonal control. The Mid frequencies can be selected from 3 options “250[Hz], 450[Hz], 700[Hz]”. When the EQ bypass is activated, the treble tone control knob acts as a passive tone control for the instrument’s output.
The new Mono-rail V bridge supports longer sustain and enables a wider range of intonation adjustment. The each independence bridge assists maximum vibration transfer to the body without interference.
Neck end adjustment allows you to adjust the neck easily without loosening the strings.
