La Guild F-40 Traditional incarne l'essence des guitares acoustiques jumbo les plus appréciées de Guild. Dotée d'une table en épicéa de Sitka massif et d'un dos et éclisses en acajou africain massif, elle possède des barrages Adirondack scallopés pour la puissance, la nuance et une grande réactivité. La F-40 Traditional présente un manche en trois parties en acajou et noyer avec une touche en palissandre indien, relié au corps par un joint en queue d'aronde.

Elle est équipée d'un pickguard classique en écaille de tortue, d'une rosette et d'un binding en nacre, du logo Guild sur la tête et de mécaniques à engrenages ouverts plaquées nickel. Une finition brillante en nitrocellulose ajoute une touche élégante à ce chef-d'œuvre, mettant en valeur la beauté et la résonance du bois précieux. Chaque F-40 Traditional inclut un certificat d'authenticité signé et numéroté et est livrée avec un étui rigide Guild humidifié.

The Guild F-40 Traditional embodies the features that make jumbo-sized acoustics some of Guild’s most beloved and revered models. Using a high-grade solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides, Guild adds scalloped Adirondack braces for power, nuance and responsiveness. The F-40 Traditional’s three piece mahogany and walnut neck is topped with an Indian rosewood fingerboard and is joined to the body with an authentic dovetail joint. This classic jumbo is handsomely appointed with a tortoiseshell pickguard, rosette, and binding, a genuine mother-of-pearl Guild peak and chesterfield logo inlaid on the headstock, and nickel-plated open gear tuners. A lustrous nitrocellulose lacquer provides an elegant finish to this masterpiece, optimizing the beauty and resonant qualities of its premium woods. Each F-40 Traditional includes a hand-signed, numbered certificate of authenticity, and ships with a Guild humidified hardshell case. Available in Natural or with an Antique Sunburst top. Achieve incredible clarity, balance and volume with our jumbo-shaped F-40, made in Southern California. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides, this jumbo acoustic checks all the boxes for players who prize outstanding projection and enhanced mid-range. Its predecessor, the F-48 Navarre, was only produced from 1972 to 1976 and original versions are a rare treasure. Today’s reissue manifests the same vintage charm with timeless and tasteful appointments such as a tortoiseshell pickguard, white ABS binding, and Guild’s peak logo inlaid on the headstock. Premium materials such as an East Indian rosewood bridge and fingerboard, 20:1 open-gear tuners, and a hand-cut bone nut and saddle all match today’s standards for fine acoustics. A satin varnish finish gives this guitar its familiar broken-in look and feel, while allowing the tone woods to “breathe” and reach their sonic potential. Each F-40 ships with a Guild archtop wood case with a built-in Humicase® humidification system. Finish options include satin varnish in Natural, or Antique Burst with Cabernet back, sides and neck.
